We are now experiencing exciting times here in Sannergata 2, where we are in the process of demolition and foundation work on the site. Interior demolition started in July 2023 and is now almost complete.
The most eye-catching thing on the construction site is without a doubt the tower crane that was installed in week 43. The debate about which crane is the biggest in Oslo is ongoing, but Sannergata can at least boast of having the longest cantilever with its 80 meter long arm.
On the south side of the building, the facade has already been removed, and the only thing left is the support system. This is preparatory work in connection with the new support system for the extension towards Sannergata.
In the coming weeks, we will plan to set up scaffolding on the east side of the building to prepare the area for the upcoming demolition. This is part of the preparations for the construction of the climate wall, which will start early next year.
Groundwork is already underway with EPS filling along the facade at Sannergata. In addition, we will start drilling for piles during week 45. Normally, the work will continue from 07:00 to 19:00, Monday to Friday.
Under «construction site info» you will find an overview of the rig plan and the progress plan for the project.
